US Soldier Charged With Using Classified Data to Bet on Capture of Maduro

A US Army soldier, Gannon Ken Van Dyke, was charged with using classified information to bet on if then-Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro would be removed from office. Prosecutors say Van Dyke used Polymarket's prediction market and made more than $400,000. Van Dyke was part of the US team that eventually arrested Maduro in Venezuela.
