US Retail Sales Fall Most Since May 2025

US retail sales fell in July by the most in more than a year as consumers pulled back on purchases at online stores and auto dealers. The value of retail purchases, which isn't adjusted for inflation, decreased 0.6%, the most since May 2025, according to data published Friday by the Census Bureau.
