US July Core CPI Rises 0.2%, Easing Pressure on Fed

The US consumer price index rose by 0.2% which was bang in line with forecasts. Prices rose by 2.5% from a year earlier, matching the slowest pace since March 2021. Energy, gas and grocery prices all fell on the month. This likely eases pressure on the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. Michael McKee reports.
