UK Needs 'Sovereign Level of Compute,' AI Minister Says

UK Artificial Intelligence Minister Kanishka Narayan discusses government policy around the adoption of AI and safety concerns about the technology. Britain needs a "sovereign level of compute," Narayan tells Bloomberg's Caroline Hepker on the sidelines of the governing Labour Party's annual conference in Liverpool. "The way we have to build data centers in this country has to be with a sense of control and a sense of British values," he adds.
