TMK Energy (ASX:TMK) reported that average gas production at its Gurvantes XXXV Pilot Well Project in Mongolia reached 778 cubic metres per day in July, up 5% from 742 cubic metres per day in June.
The operational update follows previous months where output rose steadily despite the LF-03 well remaining offline for a pump replacement and temporary power interruptions occurring during the month.
"Meanwhile, our production continues to rise on a month-by-month basis with continued evidence of near well bore desorption and further progression towards our gas production goal for 2026," said TMK Energy CEO Dougal Ferguson.
The company noted that water production held steady at about 441 barrels per day while long lead items for the 2026 work programme were acquired from China ahead of scheduled drilling operations.
TMK Energy stated that final contract negotiations are underway with Major Drilling and that the Gas to Power project is expected to become operational before the end of the year.
Following the announcement, the TMK Energy share price was down at $0.14.
The business operates as an energy explorer holding a 100% interest in the Gurvantes XXXV coal seam gas project located in the South Gobi Basin of Mongolia.
