Tivan (ASX:TVN) has formalised its entry into Timor-Leste, signing binding term sheets with state-owned mining entity Murak Rai Timor E.P. to establish incorporated joint ventures for the Baucau and Ossu Projects.

Located approximately 123km east of Dili, the tenements comprise six exploration and evaluation licences highly prospective for copper, cobalt, gold, and other critical minerals.

The joint venture structure aligns with the mandates of the Timor-Leste Mining Code (2021), leveraging Tivan’s established in-country operational capabilities from its existing Turiscai copper-gold project.
