Temas Resources advances extraction program to Stage 2
- Temas Resources transitioned its collaborative metallurgical project with SAGA Metals Corp into an eight-week Stage 2 optimisation phase.
- The announcement moves the process closer to a decision on a potential CAD$650,000-CAD$750,000 mini-pilot programme, while shares remained unchanged at $0.084.
- The optimisation phase aims to lock in process parameters and establish engineering criteria for future pilot-scale testing and commercial licensing.
Temas Resources Corp (ASX:TIO) has commenced Stage 2 of its Regenerative Chloride Leach metallurgical programme with SAGA Metals, targeting recoveries across titanium, vanadium, and iron.
The move follows Stage 1 testing that demonstrated recoveries of up to 90.8% titanium, 97.4% vanadium, and 91.5% iron.
"The objective is straightforward: generate the engineering and metallurgical data needed for pilot-scale testing and future economic evaluation," said Temas Resources President Tim Fernback.
The eight-week programme is designed to deliver initial engineering data required to support 500–1,000 kg pilot-scale testing and inform a decision on a proposed CAD $650,000–CAD $750,000 mini-pilot project.
Following the announcement, the Temas Resources share price was unchanged at $0.084.
The company stated that advancing third-party applications supports its strategic goal to commercialise its extraction platform through licensing, joint ventures, and partnerships.
