Sunrise Energy Metals (ASX:SRL) announced the appointment of John Mullumby as CFO, effective Aug. 24.
Mullumby succeeds Trevor Eton, who has served as CFO since September 2024 and will transition into a role as non-executive director on the company's board.
"John is an outstanding addition to the Sunrise executive team and brings extensive financial, commercial and operational experience across listed resources companies and global professional services," said Sunrise Energy Metals Managing Director Sam Riggall.
Mr Mullumby joins the company with over 25 years of sector experience, having previously served as CFO at Gold Road Resources alongside past senior leadership roles at Newcrest Mining Limited, Nyrstar, and Deloitte.

Sunrise Energy Metals focuses primarily on advancing the Syerston Scandium Project in central-west New South Wales, targeting high-grade, mineable supply for global supply chains.
The company also leverages its proprietary Clean-iX resin technology to optimise metal extraction and purification across its mineral tenement assets.
