Stellar Resources Limited (ASX: SRZ) has announced high-grade sampling results from its Scamander Critical Minerals Project, further cementing Eastern Tasmania’s reputation as a burgeoning polymetallic hub.
Reconnaissance work across multiple prospects has yielded "extreme" grades, particularly at the Lutwyche and Scamander Bell targets.
The Lutwyche prospect produced notable tungsten assay results, with rock chips grading up to 6.91% WO₃.
Managing Director Simon Taylor noted that these surface findings, combined with historical drilling intercepts and the nearby Carson De Beers prospect, define a highly prospective tungsten zone extending over one kilometre.
Simultaneously, the Scamander Bell target returned high-grade silver values, with peak samples reaching 2,730 g/t Ag.
Of the 28 samples collected at the site, three exceeded the 1,000 g/t Ag threshold, accompanied by anomalous gold and lead.
While Stellar’s primary development focus remains on its Heemskirk Tin Project, the company is moving to unlock value at Scamander.
Plans are currently underway for a systematic exploration program including geophysics, soil surveys, and scout drilling to test the full extent of this mineralized system.
