Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) increased run of mine coal production by 27% to 5.1 million tonnes in the second quarter.

This operational recovery follows severe first-quarter wet weather disruption that previously restricted mining volumes across Queensland.

"Stanmore delivered a strong operational performance in the second quarter," said Stanmore Resources CEO Marcelo Matos.

The company also completed a corporate debt refinancing that upsized its term loan to US$250 million.

Following the announcement, the Stanmore Resources share price was unchanged at $2.85.

The coal miner submitted an environmental impact statement for its Isaac Downs extension project during June.

Stanmore maintains total cash reserves of US$408 million.
