
Stanmore Resources boosts quarterly production by 27%
· Run of mine coal production increased by 27% quarter-on-quarter to reach 5.1 million tonnes.
· The company refinanced its senior corporate debt facilities to lower interest costs and extend loan maturities.
· Management reaffirmed full-year saleable production guidance after delivering 6.5 million tonnes year-to-date.
Stanmore Resources (ASX:SMR) increased run of mine coal production by 27% to 5.1 million tonnes in the second quarter.
This operational recovery follows severe first-quarter wet weather disruption that previously restricted mining volumes across Queensland.
"Stanmore delivered a strong operational performance in the second quarter," said Stanmore Resources CEO Marcelo Matos.
The company also completed a corporate debt refinancing that upsized its term loan to US$250 million.
Following the announcement, the Stanmore Resources share price was unchanged at $2.85.
The coal miner submitted an environmental impact statement for its Isaac Downs extension project during June.
Stanmore maintains total cash reserves of US$408 million.
