Solara Minerals reports high grade gold assays prospect
- Solara Minerals identified high-grade gold and silver sampling results at the Myrnas Hill prospect.

- Exploration efforts aim to test the undrilled east-west quartz vein and historic structural targets.
Solara Minerals (ASX:SLA) reported high-grade assay results from sampling at its Myrnas Hill prospect, returning up to 7.05 grammes per tonne of gold.
The current sampling programme targets a quartz vein structure where historical 2003 drilling previously recorded intercepts, including 3 m at 1.51 grammes per tonne of gold.
The primary sample SLMH002 returned assays of 7.05 grammes per tonne of gold alongside 3.28 grammes per tonne of silver along the east-west mineralised trend.
A second sample designated SLMH007 yielded 1.85 grammes per tonne of gold and 1.08 grammes per tonne of silver located 370m east of the main prospect.
Following the announcement, the Solara Minerals share price was unchanged at $0.16.
Historical rock chip samples on the tenement previously logged maximum values reaching 42.8% copper and 173.5 grammes per tonne of silver across past exploration campaigns.
The company stated that further field exploration and systematic drilling will be required to confirm the true continuity and grade of the mineralisation.
