SiteMinder launches new infrastructure initiative with Mews
SiteMinder (ASX:SDR) announced the launch of “SiteMinder Powered”, an infrastructure-level initiative that permits selected hospitality technology providers to natively integrate its industry-leading distribution engine directly into their own proprietary applications.
Hospitality operating system firm Mews has signed on as the inaugural strategic partner under this innovative commercial model, embedding the infrastructure to debut the new “Mews Channel Manager - Powered by SiteMinder”.
The deep structural integration seamlessly incorporates SiteMinder's premier suite of advanced solutions, including Channels Plus, Demand Plus, and Dynamic Revenue Plus, providing hoteliers with a single, highly optimised workflow.
The unified ecosystem facilitates the automated, real-time synchronisation of room rates, availability, inventory, and reservations worldwide.
Highlighting the strategic collaboration, Mews founder Richard Valtr noted that rather than rebuilding world-class distribution software, the partnership focuses on centralising essential hotel tools alongside layered artificial intelligence.
While corporate executives confirm the venture will not exert a material financial impact during the 2026 fiscal year, it unlocks substantial long-term incremental revenue streams through broader market penetration and heightened commerce product adoption.
Furthermore, SiteMinder CEO and Managing Director Sankar Narayan characterised this launch as a natural evolutionary milestone for the company.
Narayan emphasised that as AI increasingly automates and reshapes hospitality workflows, robust infrastructure uniting hotel operating systems, distribution networks, and transaction capabilities grows exponentially more valuable.
At the time of reporting, SiteMinder’s share price was $3.22.
