Sierra Nevada Gold reviews five USA exploration projects
- Sierra Nevada Gold initiated a strategic review of its USA asset portfolio to facilitate potential commercialisation.
- Preliminary discussions have begun regarding potential asset sales, joint ventures, or alternative strategic partnerships.
- The company stated this process aims to maximise portfolio value while directing exploration resources towards Saudi Arabia.
Sierra Nevada Gold (ASX:SNX) commenced a strategic review of five Nevada exploration projects to prioritise Saudi Arabian operations.
The decision follows recent drilling progress at the As-Safra Project, which advanced geological understanding within the region.
“Our success in Saudi Arabia has sharpened our focus on where we can create the most value for shareholders, with As Safra returning exciting results from our initial drilling programme," said Sierra Nevada Gold CEO Adam Oehlman.
The company stated it is considering outcomes including asset sales or joint ventures for the polymetallic properties.
The company expects this process to optimise capital allocation, and following the announcement, the Sierra Nevada Gold share price was up at $0.093.
The Nevada portfolio contains established discoveries and drill-ready targets across multiple mineral zones.
The strategic shift aligns with recent polymetallic discoveries at As Safra beneath shallow surface cover.
