  • Shine Justice reported full-year revenue of $209.2 million and a net profit after tax of $6.7 million.
  • Shares rose 6.78% to $0.63 following the earnings update and dividend announcement.
  • Earnings grew due to expansion in personal injury legal work, higher billed fees, and tight cost controls.

Shine Justice (ASX:SHJ) reported a net profit after tax of $6.7 million for the financial year ended June 30, recovering from $0.1 million in the prior corresponding period.

The earnings increase comes despite a $13 million write-down linked to a legacy class action matter.

"The improved results reported today demonstrate the benefits of the work started in FY25 to sharpen execution and focus on delivering efficient legal services for our clients," said Shine Justice Group CEO Carolyn Barker AM.

Revenue for the year increased 2.3% to $209.2 million, while EBITDA rose 7.0% to $31.7 million. The legal practice declared a fully franked final dividend of 2.5 cents per share.

Following the announcement, the Shine Justice share price was up at $0.63.

The company stated that growth was supported by stronger demand in personal injury law alongside strategic investments in digital technology platforms.

Shine Justice maintains legal service operations across Australia and New Zealand, offering plaintiff representation across class actions and personal damage claims.
