Serko signals upward revenue revision to top guidance
Key points
- Serko reported higher-than-expected first-half trading growth fuelled by accelerated completed room night bookings.
- The business anticipates positive free cash flow for both the first half and full financial year 2027.
- Core operations now drive total revenue growth as early-stage US expansion plans show delayed direct contributions.
Serko (ASX:SKO) announced it expects to make a modest upward revision to its full-year 2027 total income guidance range of $128 million to NZ$134 million.
The revised outlook reflects a stronger-than-anticipated first-half trading performance that was driven by an acceleration in completed room nights.
Total spend for the 2027 financial year is projected to sit near the middle of the company's existing NZ$132 million to NZ$140 million guidance range.
Following the announcement, the Serko share price was up at $0.88.
The business previously expected growth to stem from its United States expansion, but management noted that initial rollout timing means early initiatives will not meaningfully contribute to this period.
Serko stated that a complete operational update and detailed full-year outlook will be released during its half-year results presentation on Nov. 16.
