SciDev secures $8M in new chemistry contracts
Key points
- SciDev has secured three contracts worth roughly $8 million to deliver MaxiFlox chemistry across three major industry sectors.
- The company expects total contract value to reach up to $12 million if clients exercise optional extensions.
- The deals support the firm's strategic push to expand its recurring revenue base across mining, utilities, and infrastructure.
SciDev (ASX:SDV) has secured three new chemistry supply contracts valued at approximately $8 million across the mining, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
The initial contract terms range from one to three years, with extension options that could generate an additional $4 million in revenue.
The three supply agreements were secured following competitive tender processes involving SciDev's chemistry, dose-control technology, and technical support.
Todd Scott, CEO of SciDev, said, “Securing these contracts is a strong endorsement of SciDev’s technical capability and the value we deliver for our customers. All three were won on competitive tender against an integrated offering of chemistry, dose-control technology and technical service.”
SciDev expects to recognise approximately $5 million of the revenue in FY27, with roughly $3 million being incremental to FY26 levels.
The business stated that multi-year agreements contribute to its target of growing recurring revenue, which reached 38% of total revenue in FY26.
Following the announcement, the SciDev share price was unchanged at $0.14.
The new agreements include supply to a Hunter Valley coal mine, a municipal wastewater provider, and a national infrastructure developer.
Together with a $6 million contract announced in June, SciDev has secured roughly $14 million in new chemistry deals during 2026.
