Santos (ASX:STO) has announced the appointment of Lachlan Harris as CFO, effective immediately.
Harris has served as Acting CFO since October and brings 15 years of experience with the company, having held senior roles across treasury, finance systems, and risk.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as Deputy CFO and Treasurer, and previously acted in the CFO role.
Santos Managing Director and CEO Kevin Gallagher said Harris’s deep knowledge of the company and complex markets, combined with his financial acumen and leadership, made him the ideal candidate.
"Lachlan has a proven track record of driving major initiatives, including leading our US$1 billion 10-year bond offering, which was significantly oversubscribed," Gallagher noted.
He added that Harris' expertise will support Santos in executing its strategy, maintaining its low-cost operating model, and delivering long-term shareholder value.
