RLF AgTech (ASX:RLF) announced the appointment of Andrew Hunter FCPA as its CFO and company secretary, effective July 20.

The move signals a major step forward for the Australian agricultural technology company as it seeks to scale its global operations and accelerate commercial growth.

Hunter brings over 30 years of elite financial and institutional leadership experience to the executive team.

His distinguished career includes a 22-year tenure with Macquarie Group, where he served as the head of Europe, Middle East and Africa for Macquarie Capital.

Following his time in investment banking, he served as managing director and CEO of Export Finance Australia and, subsequently, as the CEO of CPA Australia.

RLF Chief Executive Officer Stuart Upton expressed immense confidence in the new appointment, noting that Hunter’s extensive background in global investment banking, complex transactions, capital structures, and international trade finance is a significant asset.

According to Upton, the expertise will prove invaluable as the company expands its footprint within Australia and key international markets.

In response to his appointment, Hunter highlighted RLF’s strong product foundation, demonstrated progress, and deliberate focus on driving commercial outcomes as key motivators for joining.

He will work alongside outgoing CFO Zaiqian Zhang over the coming weeks to ensure a seamless and orderly handover of responsibilities before formally stepping into the dual role.
