Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) has achieved a metallurgical milestone at its Antimony Ridge Project, producing an intermediate antimony trioxide product with a purity grade of 99.38%.
The result, generated from conventional pyrometallurgical test work in Ontario, signals a major leap forward in the company's mission to establish a secure, domestic processing pathway for critical minerals within the United States.
Utilising high-grade stibnite samples from historical open pits, the roasting process effectively volatilised material at 700°C to create a high-quality powder with remarkably low impurity levels, including minimal traces of arsenic and sulphur.
The technical success forms the backbone of a broader strategy to revitalise the central Idaho mineral belt.
Resolution is currently fast-tracking development plans for a regional processing hub at the Johnson Creek Mill site, leveraging existing infrastructure on 100% owned private land.
To ensure a robust operational framework, the company is simultaneously advancing hydrometallurgical studies at ANSTO in Australia and concentrate refining for tungsten and gold in Perth.
The efforts are supported by the project’s recent inclusion in the FAST-41 federal programme, which is expected to streamline permitting for upcoming large-scale bulk sampling and a massive 250-hole drilling campaign.
At the time of reporting, Resolution Minerals’ share price was $0.065.
