ReNerve secures medical marketing approval in Indonesia
- ReNerve achieved commercial registration for its NervAlign Nerve Cuff product in Indonesia.
- The company's stock remained steady on the Australian Securities Exchange following the announcement.
- The expansion targets a regional nerve repair market estimated at US$100 million in 2026.
ReNerve (ASX:RNV) obtained marketing approval for its NervAlign Nerve Cuff in Indonesia to expand its international medical device footprint.
This registration follows recent distribution expansions across international markets like Malaysia and Hong Kong earlier this year.
"Securing approval in Indonesia is a significant milestone in our Asia-Pacific expansion strategy. Indonesia is one of the largest and fastest-growing healthcare markets in the region, and the clinical need for effective peripheral nerve repair-driven by both trauma and diabetes – is substantial," said ReNerve CEO Dr Julian Chick.
The agreement gives the company access to a nation with over 280 million people and significant trauma-related injury rates.
Following the announcement, the ReNerve share price was unchanged at $0.08.
The company stated that the transaction is expected to position the business to leverage the expanding regional nerve repair sector.
