Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) achieved preliminary gold production of 83,000 ounces for the first quarter of FY27 ended Sept. 30.
Heavy rainfall impacted September operations across its Western Australian mining assets, but total group output still met operational targets.
The miner generated $146 million in pre-tax cash and bullion during the quarter, which included a $51 million Vault break fee, before executing $53 million in tax payments.
Following the announcement, the Regis Resources share price was unchanged at $7.19.
The Duketon operation provided 56.1 thousand ounces, while Tropicana contributed 27,000 ounces, keeping full-year guidance on track at 360,000 to 400,000 ounces.
Regis stated that full-year growth capital expenditure remains heavily weighted to the first half as new open-pit mining areas begin development.
