Regis Resources (ASX:RRL) declared an initial open pit mineral resource at Beamish South containing 270koz of gold.
This maiden open pit estimate comes after recent drilling confirmed gold mineralisation depths of at least 180m.
“We remain confident in our long-term underground growth pipeline,” said Regis Resources Managing Director and CEO Jim Beyer.
The initial resource at Beamish South sits within a $3,900 per ounce pit shell.

The gold producer continues exploration activities across its key growth assets, including Duketon, McPhillamys, and Tropicana.
The business stated that these exploration results validate its strategy to extend mine life across its operations.
