Regener8 secures 100% ownership of Srebrenica North Project
Regener8 Resources (ASX:R8R) completed its acquisition of 100% of Orichalcum d.o.o., securing full ownership of the Srebrenica North Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The major transaction, which received overwhelming shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting on May 6, marks a milestone in the company's expansion into Europe’s most active polymetallic mining jurisdictions.
The Srebrenica North Project spans an extensive 80-square-kilometre tenure characterised by prospective volcanic and intrusive lithologies within the renowned Srebrenica Volcanic Complex.
The underexplored asset is positioned adjacent to notable regional discoveries, being flanked by Mineco’s operating Sase (Gross) and Veliki Majdan lead-zinc-silver mines and immediately bordering Terra Balcanica’s prominent Viogor-Zanik discovery.
The licence area has not undergone any modern systematic exploration or structural geological evaluation in more than 50 years, representing a significant untapped high-grade exploration opportunity for silver, copper, antimony, zinc, and lead.
With the binding share purchase agreement fully executed, Regener8 is rapidly mobilising operational teams to commence an immediate maiden exploration campaign.
Management has confirmed that initial ground operations, targeting the commencement of soil sampling and high-resolution ground magnetics, will launch within the coming weeks.
Managing Director Stephen Foley stated that completing this acquisition caps months of focused due diligence.
At the time of reporting, Regener8 Resources’ share price was $0.15.
