Reflecting on 25 Years Since 9/11 Attacks
Mark Jacobson, International Spy Museum Historian and retired US Navy Intelligence Officer, shares his experience being inside the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. He recalls being near the point of impact, and the difficulties in getting in touch with his family to let them know he had survived. Jacobson also discusses how well equipped the country is to prevent another terrorist attack and reflects on how counterterrorism has evolved in the past 25 years, saying that while overall we are more secure than we were 25 years ago, he's worried about "the fact that we are undervaluing our allies."
