Recce Pharmaceuticals (ASX:RCE) expanded its global intellectual property portfolio by securing its eighth Family 4 patent in Vietnam.
The milestone expands on existing anti-infective patent protections already secured in major markets like Australia, China, and Canada.
The newly granted patent covers specific manufacturing preparation processes and multiple administration methods like oral or inhalation delivery.
The company stated that these newly approved patent claims relate specifically to its RECCE 327 and RECCE 529 anti-infectives.
Following the announcement, the Recce Pharmaceuticals share price was down at $0.38.
The underlying technology targets a broad range of human medical concerns, including burn wounds and drug-resistant bacterial infections.
The company stated that the newly finalised Vietnamese intellectual property protection is set to maintain expiry in 2041.
