Pro Medicus secures $90M US hospital contract
Medical imaging IT provider Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) has secured a major seven-year, $90 million contract with US healthcare system Beth Israel Lahey Health.
Under the agreement, the ASX-listed company will implement its flagship cloud-based Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform across the Boston-based network's 14 hospitals.
The rollout will serve regional patient bases throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, with immediate implementation planning aimed at a targeted first-quarter go-live in the 2027 calendar year.
In a simultaneous corporate update, Pro Medicus announced that Clayton Hatch, its long-serving head of business operations and investor relations, has resigned effective Aug. 14.
Hatch departs after an 18-year tenure, having previously navigated the company’s pivotal global expansion as CFO.
Despite executive transition, the North American transaction-based contract underlines accelerating momentum for the company's CloudPACS strategy as major tier-one hospital networks increasingly phase out legacy diagnostic systems.
At the time of reporting, Pro Medicus’ share price was $129.74.
