Prairie Lithium (ASX:PL9) has delivered its commercial-scale direct lithium extraction unit to its project in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The company stated that this newly arrived unit is approximately four times larger than a similar system in Arkansas.
The equipment delivery complements existing on-site infrastructure, including production wells, disposal wells, and a power transformer.
The company reported that all phase one production is secured under a binding agreement with Hydro Lithium.
Management expects the next phase of equipment installation and commissioning to occur in the fourth quarter.
Following the announcement, the Prairie Lithium share price was unchanged at $0.006.
The company recently restructured its board of directors to support its ongoing transition towards active commercial resource production.
