Perseus Mining (ASX:PRU) delivered a June quarter featuring group gold production of 109,013 ounces and a cash and bullion reserve of US$1.03 billion.
This output compared against production figures from previous periods while maintaining all-in site costs of US$1,941 per ounce for the quarter.
"This was a quarter of significant milestones for Perseus — first stoping ore from CMA Underground, a first for both Perseus and Côte d'Ivoire, an outstanding safety achievement at Nyanzaga, and cash and bullion passing US$1 billion for the first time," said Perseus Mining Managing Director and CEO Craig Jones.
The company also increased its share buyback programme to $150 million and reported that the Nyanzaga Gold Project reached 67% overall project progress.
The business aims to bring two major growth projects into commercial production alongside existing operations during the 2027 financial year.
Following the announcement, the Perseus Mining share price was up at $4.95.
The company manages a portfolio of West African gold operations, including Yaouré, Edikan, and Sissingué.
