Perenti secures $275M Nevada contract
- Perenti secured a $275 million contract for underground development at the Fourmile Project in Nevada.
- The agreement extends the contractor's operations in North America but does not immediately alter its current share price.
- The company stated that the deal aligns with its strategic goal to expand its presence in tier-one mining jurisdictions.
Diversified mining services provider Perenti (ASX:PRN) announced that its subsidiary Barminco has secured a $275 million underground mining services contract at the Fourmile Project in Nevada.
The 45-month contract is scheduled to commence in July, building on early work readiness activities that the company highlighted in its half-year market update.
"This supports our strategy to expand operations in tier-one mining jurisdictions and continues our disciplined growth into the North American market with both Barminco and Swick," said Perenti CEO Vanessa Torres.
Under the scope of work, the business will deliver underground development and ground support services for the twin Bullion Hill portals, spanning an estimated 16km.
Following the announcement, the Perenti share price was unchanged at $1.05.
The transaction follows a separate $850 million contract award secured by Barminco in May 2026 for underground mining services at the Bellevue Gold Project in Western Australia.
The company stated that these competitive contract wins support its ongoing strategy to deliver sustainable cash generation and future earnings growth.
