Peninsula Energy (ASX:PEN) announced the recommencement of uranium precipitation and dried yellowcake production at its Lance Central Processing Plant in Wyoming, USA.

The operational milestone follows the completion of critical rectification work on the facility's precipitation circuit, which had been sidelined due to installation-related deficiencies identified earlier this year.

The company confirmed that replacement agitator assemblies were sourced directly from the original manufacturer and have now been fully commissioned, restoring the circuit to its intended functionality.

Throughout the brief outage, wellfield operations remained active to preserve integrity and support the current production ramp-up.

Mine Unit 4 continues to deliver high-performance results, with uranium-rich solutions from Header House 14 averaging grades of 63.9 mg/L—a figure significantly higher than historical averages at the site.

The resource quality, combined with a precipitation circuit that previously demonstrated 99% efficiency, bolsters the company’s confidence in its operational trajectory.

The rectification costs were managed effectively, treated as a warranty claim under the existing engineering, procurement, and construction contract.

Despite the temporary pause, Peninsula has maintained its 2026 production guidance of 0.4 to 0.5 Mlbs, supported by the plant's total nameplate capacity of 2.0 Mlbs per annum.

At the time of reporting, Peninsula Energy’s share price was $0.52.
