PC Gold secures Pine Creek accommodation infrastructure

PC Gold (ASX:PC2) has finalised the acquisition of the former Territory Iron accommodation camp in Pine Creek, Northern Territory.
Located approximately 30 minutes by road from the flagship Spring Hill Gold Project, the newly acquired site will serve as support infrastructure for upcoming project development.
The total consideration for the acquisition stands at $770,000 plus GST.
By purchasing an established facility rather than navigating the lengthy permitting and construction processes required for a new build, PC Gold secures substantial time and cost advantages.
The existing infrastructure is comprehensive, featuring 16 accommodation blocks that house 64 rooms, dedicated office facilities, and extensive storage units.
Furthermore, the site boasts active connections to essential mains power, water, and sewerage systems.
Photographic evidence from when the facility was last operational in 2015 highlights the site’s solid foundation, which will undergo minor refurbishment to bring it back to full capacity.
Once fully operational, the Pine Creek Camp will provide ample capacity to support workforce housing and operational activities at Spring Hill, with the property offering a sufficient spatial footprint for additional room expansions as mining activities scale up.
Management expects the acquisition to deliver immediate economic and operational benefits, not only to the Spring Hill Gold Project but also to the broader Pine Creek community through increased regional investment and local economic flow-on effects.
