Patriot Resources expands Tassa Project footprint in Peru

Patriot Resources (ASX:PAT) executed an agreement to acquire the Tassa 5 concession in Peru, expanding the total site footprint to 1,800 hectares.

The new concession area adds to the existing project area, which holds a reported 31.4 million ounces of silver equivalent.

"Concluding this five-year agreement with the Tassa Community gives us a clear, multi-year pathway to carry out surface exploration and drilling across the company’s Tassa high-grade silver deposit. The agreement includes our recently pegged Tassa 5 tenement," stated Dominic Duggan, the company’s CEO & Managing Director.

Patriot Resources confirmed that environmental permits for the site remain valid and local community engagement programmes are underway.

Following the announcement, the Patriot Resources share price was unchanged at $0.055.

The business is focusing on divesting its Gorman Lithium asset to prioritise development at its Tassa and Kitumba assets.
