Patagonia Lithium reports packer test result at Cilon Well
- Patagonia Lithium completed a successful packer test on a core from Well 9.
- The company's share price remained unchanged at $0.10 following the operational announcement.
- Testing helps evaluate brine transmissivity for an upcoming mineral resource estimate upgrade.
Patagonia Lithium (ASX:PL3) recorded positive brine transmissivity in a packer test at its Cilon Well after encountering sandy clays at a depth of 95m.
The result comes as the exploration firm advances infill drilling at the site to expand its resource definition.
The company stated that the test confirms the sandy clay matrix can successfully transmit brines despite its visually low-to-moderate porosity.
Field operators collected core samples at 95m depth and logged fine to medium sand mixed with very fine material.
The technical progress supports ongoing hydrogeological modelling across the target basin in Argentina.
Following the announcement, the Patagonia Lithium share price was unchanged at $0.10.
The explorer holds lithium brine projects in South America, including the Formentera and Cilon concessions in Jujuy Province.
Management plans to use these geological test results to update its total mineral resource estimate.
