- The strategy focuses on refining geological models and assessing historical uranium mineralisation.
Orpheus Uranium (ASX:ORP) scheduled a 5,750m exploration drilling programme at its Erudina Uranium Prospect for early Q3 2026.
The asset area previously yielded widespread uranium anomalism across 64 historical drill holes during past exploration campaigns.
“The planned commencement of drilling at Erudina is an important milestone for Orpheus and the culmination of many factors, from thorough technical reviews and stakeholder engagement to heritage work, approvals, and exploration planning,” said Orpheus Uranium Managing Director Clinton Dubieniecki.
The rotary mud programme comprises up to 35 drill holes targeting an interpreted 10km long palaeochannel system.
Following the announcement, the Orpheus Uranium share price was up at $0.10.
The programme commencement follows a heritage survey completed with Adnyamathanha representatives alongside a native title mining agreement.
The company stated that the resulting data will guide future evaluation towards a potential mineral resource estimate.
