
Origin Energy reports $911M in dividends in June quarter
- Origin Energy reported full-year production of 668 PJ and received $911 million in fully franked dividends from Australia Pacific LNG.

- The company stated it is focusing on increased drilling and optimisation to support future domestic gas supply.
Origin Energy (ASX:ORG) reported full-year production of 668 PJ alongside $911 million in fully franked dividends for the period ended June 30.
The latest gas output figures came in above the midpoint of company guidance, which sat between 645 and 680 PJ.
"Australia Pacific LNG performed strongly and in line with expectations, generating significant cash flow to Origin," said Origin Energy CEO Frank Calabria.
The company reported that June quarter revenue grew by 6% to $1.97 billion, while customer accounts increased by 243,000 across the full financial year.
Following the announcement, the Origin Energy share price was down at $10.66.
The utility provider also finalised the formal separation of Kraken and Octopus Energy, marked by a US$1 billion Kraken equity raise in July.
Origin currently maintains 980 MW of operational battery storage and expects financial year 2027 capital expenditure to rise to $3.3 billion.
