Orezone Gold restarts operations at Casa Berardi mine

Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) resumed operations at its Casa Berardi mine in Quebec on July 17, following a temporary pause due to local wildfire activity.
The mine had voluntarily suspended operations on July 14 after a wildfire was reported approximately 12km away from the site.
During the temporary shutdown, a skeleton crew remained on-site to maintain operations while executing maintenance originally planned for later in the year.
Following the announcement, the Orezone Gold share price was unchanged at $2.14.
Orezone Gold operates as an emerging gold producer with active mining operations located in Canada and West Africa.
The business manages the Casa Berardi mine in Canada alongside the Bomboré mine in Burkina Faso.
