
Orezone Gold posts US$271.6M revenue in Q2

Orezone Gold (ASX:ORE) announced second-quarter net earnings of US$45.2 million alongside total revenue of US$271.6 million for the period ended June 30. EBITDA for the quarter came to US$134.5 million.
"The second quarter marked an important milestone for Orezone with our first full quarter as a two-mine gold producer following the acquisition of Casa Berardi," said Orezone Gold President and CEO Patrick Downey.
The company is slated to release its Casa Berardi Life-of-Mine study in September.
The company reported gold sales of 60,654 ounces at an average realised price of US$4,401 per ounce, while all-in sustaining costs reached US$2,449 per ounce sold.
The company stated that commissioning for the Bomboré Stage 2A Hard Rock Expansion remains on schedule for the fourth quarter of 2026.
Following the announcement, the Orezone Gold share price was down at $2.74.
Orezone Gold operates gold production and exploration assets in West Africa and Canada.
The company's recent corporate activities include the acquisition of Casa Berardi and ongoing expansion works at the Bomboré Project.
