Ora Banda Mining (ASX:OBM) announced that gold production is expected to ease in the 2027 financial year to between 125,000 and 140,000 ounces.

The forecast follows a June quarter where the miner produced 39,552 ounces, bringing total FY26 output to 140,949 ounces.

Ora Banda detailed that production will be weighted towards the first half of FY27, with third-party processing running through October.

The company stated that ore will subsequently be stockpiled to facilitate the commissioning of its new 3 million tonne-a-year processing plant.

Ora Banda plans to invest $240 million directly in the construction of the new processing facility.

Following the announcement, the Ora Banda share price was up at $1.12.

The capital expenditure builds on FY26 momentum, where the miner generated $468 million.
