Ora Banda Mining expands Little Gem prospect strike
- Latest drilling at Ora Banda Mining expanded the Little Gem prospect strike length to over 2.6km with multiple parallel sapphire lodes.
- The stock market responded to ongoing exploratory updates as drilling progress continued across Western Australian tenements.
- The company stated that exploration efforts support ongoing resource growth targets and long-term development plans.
Ora Banda Mining (ASX:OBM) reported that recent drilling at the Little Gem prospect expanded the strike and depth extents of new sapphire lodes, defining multiple parallel systems over a 2.6km strike down to a depth of 200m.
This drilling update contrasts with previous exploration periods by confirming continuous high-grade gold and mineralised intercepts across a broader operational area.
The latest programme builds on more than 360 completed drill holes situated between the Little Gem and Sunraysia Prospects.
Specific high-grade results included 5m at 18.1 grammes per tonne gold and 2m at 44.3 grammes per tonne gold from the sapphire lode.
Following the announcement, the Ora Banda Mining share price was down at $1.12.
The business continues to maintain exploration as a core operational focus while mineralisation along both the Gem and Sapphire lodes remains open at depth and along strike.
Delivery of a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Little Gem prospect remains on track for late 2026.
