  • OD6 Metals secured an expansion at its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada by staking new mining claims.
  • The company's share price remained unchanged at $0.10 following the asset expansion announcement.
  • The staking adds four new project areas and nine high-grade historic occurrences to build an exploration pipeline.

OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) expanded its Quinn Fluorspar Project in Nevada by staking 226 mining claims covering 4,670 acres.

The expansion increases the footprint from 48 original optioned claims to include four new project areas.

“We have successfully consolidated Quinn Fluorspar into a district play — and we believe this represents the most compelling emerging fluorspar project in North America,” said OD6 Managing Director Brett Hazelden.

New areas include the Blue Bell Project, which recorded historic assays up to 88% calcium fluoride.

The company stated that the vision is to build a strong pipeline of exploration targets under a hub-and-spoke model, and following the announcement the OD6 share price was unchanged at $0.10.

The newly added Bonanza Project features a 15-metre diameter breccia pipe hosting fluorspar at Valley View mapped by Union Carbide Corporation.

Other newly acquired assets within the Nevada mining claims include the El Cortez Project and the Bruno Project.
