Oakajee Corporation (ASX:OKJ) announced the results of its October 2025 aircore drilling program at the Paynes Find Gold Project in Western Australia.
The program, comprising 28 drill holes totaling 1,258m, was designed to follow up and extend previously identified gold mineralisation at the Paynes Find South target.
The drilling has uncovered a new gold-bearing shear zone on the western side of the tested area.
The zone, associated with a NNW-trending mafic/felsic contact, lies beneath approximately 20m of lake clay and gravel.
Early assays indicate significant gold values, including 925 ppb Au (PFAC122) and 100 ppb Au (PFAC123), with mineralisation remaining open to the west, north, and south. Oakajee geologists estimate the target strike length could extend up to 2km.
The AC program also included infill drilling at 25-metre spacing on northern lines, confirming additional gold mineralisation ranging from 100–400 ppb Au, consistent with previous results.
The newly identified zone is interpreted to be close to a granite contact immediately to the west, with mineralisation primarily associated with sheared mafic rocks.
Oakajee plans further AC drilling to define the extent of the new gold zone, pending statutory approvals and the availability of drilling crews.
At the time of reporting, Oakjee's share price was $0.075.
