Data intelligence firm Nuix (ASX:NXL) appointed John Ruthven as its permanent CEO and Managing Director, effective May 4.
The decision follows a rigorous global search that began after Ruthven stepped into the interim CEO role in November 2025.
Nuix Chair Robert Mactier confirmed the board's unanimous support for the appointment, citing Ruthven’s strategic leadership and strong resonance with staff and clients during his six-month interim tenure.
Commenting on his permanent move into the cockpit, Ruthven noted that his time with the company has only strengthened his conviction in Nuix’s technology and its "foundations of a growth story".
