
New CFO appointed at Intelligent Monitoring
- Intelligent Monitoring Group has appointed former MMA Offshore executive David Cavanagh as its new CFO.
- The executive transition follows a period of corporate growth driven by recent corporate acquisitions.
- The company expects the appointment to strengthen financial accountability during its planned domestic and international expansion.
Intelligent Monitoring (ASX:IMB) has appointed David Cavanagh as its new CFO, effective July 20.
Cavanagh replaces the previous financial leadership position after spending eight years as the CFO at MMA Offshore and seven years as a finance general manager at Toll Global Logistics.
"David joins us at a very important time in our corporate development," said Intelligent Monitoring Managing Director Dennison Hambling.
The incoming executive also brings prior management experience from professional services and banking firms, including PwC, Macquarie Bank, and Deloitte.
Following the announcement, the Intelligent Monitoring share price was unchanged at $0.45.
The security services provider stated that the leadership change is designed to improve business acumen across its finance function during a period of significant growth.
The appointment follows a series of recent corporate acquisitions as the company seeks to expand its monitoring operations both within Australia and internationally.
