Neurizon Therapeutics (ASX:NUZ) has finished participant enrolment for Regimen I of the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial, moving its expected topline trial results forward to late Q2 2027.

The rapid completion of recruitment allows the drug developer to deliver efficacy and safety data for its lead drug candidate earlier than original forecasts anticipated.

The company stated that the swift trial progression brings forward an important value inflection point for its shareholders without requiring additional funding changes.

Following the announcement, the Neurizon Therapeutics share price was up at $0.064.

The clinical-stage biotechnology business focuses on developing therapeutics for neurodegenerative conditions like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

The company previously operated under the name PharmAust before changing its corporate brand to Neurizon Therapeutics in October 2024.
