MLG Oz forms 50% regional mining joint venture

MLG Oz (ASX:MLG) and Marlinyu Ghoorlie Enterprises have established a 50% joint venture to provide regional mining services.

The agreement follows a December 2025 Federal Court decision formally recognising the traditional native title of the region.

The mining contractor will act as the operational manager for the newly incorporated entity with shared board representation.

The company stated the venture expects to deliver local employment, training, and procurement benefits alongside commercial returns.

Following the announcement, the MLG share price was unchanged at $0.75.

The designated operational area covers the existing logistics footprint stretching between Kalgoorlie, Kambalda, and Southern Cross.

The company stated the partnership is structured to gradually build independent commercial capacity for the local community.
