Miramar Resources launches major drilling at Gidji JV Project
- Miramar Resources has commenced reverse circulation and aircore drilling programmes across core targets at its Gidji JV Gold Project in Western Australia.
- The exploration initiative follows a $1.3 million capital placement designed to accelerate critical resource development and target evaluation.
- The programme aims to expand existing maiden gold resources and evaluate multiple high-priority prospective anomalies across the tenement package.
Miramar Resources (ASX:M2R) has initiated a key drilling programme at its flagship Gidji JV Gold Project located north of Kalgoorlie.
The campaign represents a significant step forward following the company's recent completion of a $1.3 million capital placement.
"Our team remains highly focused on uncovering the true scale of the mineralised footprint at Gidji as drilling gets underway across our priority targets," stated Miramar Resources Executive Chairman Allan Kelly.
The exploration effort combines reverse circulation and aircore rigs to test multiple high-priority target areas alongside existing shallow gold mineralisation.
This operational milestone sets the stage for upcoming laboratory assay results that will define the project's growth pipeline over the coming months.
Following the announcement, the Miramar Resources share price was unchanged at $0.002.
The company previously published a maiden inferred mineral resource estimate for key zones within the tenement area to establish a baseline asset value.
Miramar Resources continues to maintain an active exploration portfolio focused on gold, copper, and base metal assets situated across Western Australia.
