Minrex Resources funds drilling drive At Tlamino Project

Share

Minrex Resources (ASX:MRR) announced a disciplined dual-stream strategy aimed at unlocking near-term value at its flagship Tlamino Project while securing long-term regional optionality across its broader portfolio.

The resource explorer enters this pivotal operational period backed by a rare combination of attributes, including full funding for its upcoming exploration activities directly from existing corporate cash reserves.

Central to the company's near-term growth is the imminent mobilisation of a ~7,000-metre diamond drilling programme at Tlamino.

The extensive campaign is designed to infill the current 670,000-ounce gold-equivalent (AuEq) NI 43-101 inferred resource, targeting an upgrade to the indicated category under the JORC 2012 framework to underpin a forthcoming scoping study.

The exploration team will drill over 1km of untested trend along the highly prospective Barje–Liska corridor, which shows significant potential for a faulted offset repeat similar in scale to the existing Barje deposit.

Management highlighted a substantial opportunity for a transformational economic revaluation of the asset, noting that global gold and silver market prices have appreciated by 200% and 360%, respectively, since the project's original 2021 preliminary economic assessment.

At the time of reporting, Minrex Resources’ share price was $0.016.
