Minbos Resources (ASX:MNB) has appointed Rob Newbold as its permanent CEO to leverage his 20 years of experience.
This full-time appointment formalises a leadership role that Newbold had held on an acting basis since February.
“Rob has already demonstrated strong leadership, commercial discipline and commitment to the Cabinda Phosphate Project during his period as Acting CEO,” said Minbos Chair Paul Mckenzie.
Before taking the top role, Newbold served as general manager of Wengfu Australia and held senior roles at Nufarm.
Following the announcement, the Minbos Resources share price was unchanged at $0.02.
The company stated that it is progressing its Cabinda Phosphate Project through a critical sequence of funding and construction.
The business expects Newbold to travel regularly from Spain to support communication with lenders, contractors, and government counterparts.
