Colin Reed, a republican strategist and co-founder of South & Hill Strategies, said that the midterm landscape has improved for Republicans in the last month, pointing to the Republican base's tendency to get involved later in the cycle and President Trump's presence on the campaign trail as drivers of the turn. Reed also weighed in on the Senate Race in New Hampshire and said that ads criticizing Democratic candidate Chris Pappas show the 'populist themes' resonating with voters in the midterms.
