Metallium (ASX:MTM) executed an agreement and completed its first multi-unit flash joule heating reactor commissioning campaign at its development facility in Texas.
The technology development facility ran three units simultaneously over a 12-hour period, which compares to prior laboratory-scale validation.
The company stated that the processing campaign achieved an average unit availability of 83% and a utilisation factor of approximately 100%.
The 12-person operational team completed 18 processing batches and generated engineering data without encountering any safety incidents or lost-time injuries.
The engineering campaign represents an intermediate step towards commercial deployment as the company advances its proprietary processing platform.
Following the announcement, the Metallium share price was up at $0.48.
